Do you need a Website in Oslo? Well, there’s a couple of things you should know before, and maybe you have some questions too.
Today is easier to describe what is not a website than to define what’s a website, so let’s get started to explain how web design agencies work.
1. What is the best website company in Oslo?
Let’s divide this into parts because it’s easy to understand.
1.1. Website agencies in Oslo. Operation.
As you can imagine, there’re thousands of website agencies around, most of them work in the same way, the traditional way. The client approaches them with their ideas, they create a website following those ideas and that’s it. No long-term relationship and if something happens with the website (and it will, very soon), they will charge the fix.
That’s a problem for the client of course because the initial cost becomes bigger and bigger. What if the client wants a modification or updates the content, as it should be for SEO and branding? They need to pay again.
This is more o less how website agencies in Oslo operate, and mostly everywhere. And there are DIY web builders and freelancers as well.
1.2. What is the cost of a website in Oslo?
The cost for designing a website varies a lot, as you expected it, and you can see it reflected in the quality as well. And that points us back to our questions: “what is a website?” or “what is not a website?”. I’ll come back to this subject later.
I may agree that some designers can create beautiful websites. But website aesthetics is not the unique parameter you may focus on when searching for the best website company in Oslo. Is the operation: what is their business model, from where they get their profits?
Then website agencies charge you for the website design, and for the additional modifications, reparations, or for the content updates (if clients are not doing it by themself). And for the SEO and SEO updates. The main problem here is not the price itself, it’s that you don’t know what you are paying and when you must pay again.
That’s an uncontrolled environment that carries stability risks, and consequently, it will be costly afterward. If the customer has total access to the website’s backend he/she will mess the configuration. And if this website isn’t monitored, it will fail: consider a website a living thing that will disappear from the internet and search engines without proper maintenance.
